AIR-FLEXCUSTOM UCV Canopy
The AIR-FLEX CUSTOM UCV Canopy offers a completely custom built ultra clean solution, ideal for more difficult spaces, such as building or room conversions.
As with all canopies in the AIR-FLEX UCV Series, the AIR-FLEX CUSTOM offers exceptional energy efficiency and much improved sound attenuation, reaching less than NR45 in most installations. The AIR-FLEX CUSTOM provides a flexible UCV canopy solution for any installation; a 'vendor neutral' solution, all Medexs canopies integrate easily with most operating theatre equipment.
The AIR-FLEX CUSTOM canopy unit is screenless and fits completely flush to the ceiling, maximising ceiling height and allowing unobstructed access within the clean zone to position operating lights, medical pendants and imaging equipment. Low level recirculation is the usual choice to prevent entrainment, however, if space is limited, high level recirculation may be specified.
The low height profile of the AIR-FLEX CUSTOM canopy unit makes it especially suitable for situations where a room is to be converted to an ultraclean theatre and the unit itself approximately half the height of comparable UCV canopies on the market today. A key advantage of the AIR-FLEX CUSTOM canopy is that it can be built around existing structural features, making it an incredibly flexible UCV solution. Additionally, the canopy can be built to your exact specifications; almost any size square or rectangular canopy is possible and it will fit the dimensions of your theatre exactly. It can also be fully integrated with most modern theatre equipment, making it ideal for the modern hybrid theatre.
Fully HTM / SHTM 03-01 compliant, exceptionally quiet and available tailored to fit the dimensions of non standard theatre spaces, the AIR-FLEX CUSTOM also features our 'Intelligent Response Control System' (IRCS), making it an incredibly responsive and flexible option for today's modern operating theatre.
