The AIR-FLEX^CURVE UCV Canopy offers a unique, adaptable and sleek, flush fitting circular or rounded corner UCV option, suitable for ultraclean operating theatres and clean rooms, whether a new build or retrofit project.

The removal of the corners of the canopy is not simply an aesthetic decision; air turbulence is eliminated making the AIR-FLEX^CURVE up to 22% more energy-efficient in comparison to most conventional square and rectangular designs. The circular flush fitting, skirtless design also provides maximum flexibility in operating theatre design, giving surgical teams unhindered 360° access to the patient, whilst also allowing pendants and other equipment to be manoeuvred easily in or out of the clean zone without obstruction. Additionally, the removal of canopy corners helps to reduce the chance of patients contracting airborne infections during a surgical procedure, whilst also protecting the clinical teams operating within the clean zone.

The AIR-FLEX^CURVE pushes HEPA-filtered air through double layers of woven fabric, providing a low-turbulence airflow within the clean zone. This eliminates sudden pressure drops and maintains a temperature differential of only 0.5°C within the clean zone.
